A globally known arts venue in Minneapolis, the Walker provides a diverse range of entertainment, from film screenings and art exhibitions to music and theater performances. Upcoming theatrical works include the play Minefield, an innovative documentary work by Argentinian artist Lola Arias.
Minefield brings alive the evils of war through the stories of six British and Argentinian veterans who fought in the Falklands War in 1982. Their memories supply the material for a work that spans the gamut of emotions from tenderness to humor. The play has toured internationally, sharing insights into war and humanity. It will be performed at Walker Art Center from January 31 through February 2, 2019.
