Paul Liska is a respected presence in the Chicago entrepreneurial sphere who has guided financial aspects of corporations and driven results-focused turnaround efforts. Among Paul Liska’s favorite activities is golf. He enjoys playing courses such as those at Winged Foot Country Club, which he considers the most challenging course he has ever played.

Located in Mamaroneck, New York, Winged Foot spans 280 rugged Westchester County acres and contains east and west courses, both of which are ranked by Golf Digest as among America's 100 greatest golf courses. Since its inception in 1923, the private club has maintained many unique rules, including no tee time, which encourages a relaxed atmosphere. Another gentlemanly distinction is the invention of the “mulligan” on the course. Named for Canadian hotelier David Mulligan, this 1936 innovation allows recreational players to give their opponent another chance at a badly flubbed shot.

Traditional to the core, Winged Foot is a walking club that employs a team of 100 caddies during peak summer months. Constructed of slate, stone, and brick, the clubhouse has an architectural style associated with classic British educational institutions and perfectly matches the surrounding countryside. This has to do with the stones that were blasted in the area during the construction of the course, which were employed in building the iconic and formidable clubhouse in 1926.
